This has been a really difficult decision, but I have to take a hiatus from Youtube. Again. But this time, I’ll explain myself.
My fiancé and I broke up a week and a half ago. This means that now my time is compromised in a host of exciting new ways: I have a 90+ minute bus commute each way to work; I have to spend what free time I can get looking for new apartments; I’m spending every other night at a friend’s apartment; and frankly, I cannot stand being in my house and I’m trying to leave it as much as I possibly can.
It’s also fair to say that I have no ability to enjoy my geeky hobbies right now, as sitting alone in my house with a broken heart playing LA Noire is emotionally incongruent.
Chances are good that if you’re reading this you already follow my twitter, but if you don’t, please do: @shegeekshow. I’m still tweeting this week about E3 and the cool news pouring out of there. And maybe I’ll be able to pull my shit together and do an episode next week, and maybe I won’t, no promises. But right now I focus on moving, cleaning, socializing, and pouring myself into my job - Youtube is just going to have to be patient with me.
